I finally invested in some of the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tars after seeing xsparkage's swatched of the summer colours in "The Garden" collection.
Whilst I was looking for the new colours I spotted that Love Makeup was selling off the tar's in the old packaging at £6.50 so I decided to indulge.
Today I have Queen, a gorgeous, vibrant, red/pink colour.
The wear on these is insane. I put it on before 8am, and wore it until 6pm. It survived endless cups of tea and lunch. It was a little drying after a few hours but nothing that a little balm won't fix.
I'll share my other lip tars with you another time (I can honestly say that I am in love)

Rainbow Eyeliner featuring Sugarpill Cosmetics
There have been photos of this look flying around the blogging world for a while now, I first saw it on Pinterest and Beautylish.
So after admiring the rainbow eyeliner from afar I finally decided to give it a go.
Mines nowhere near as neat as the others out there, but it was fun to wear and I got lots of compliments.
I used Sugarpill's Burning Heart Palette and a couple of MUFE eyeshadows too.
The lashes are also from Sugarpill, their a fab midnight blue, and I absolutely love the shape of them. More colours please!
FOTD featuring Sugarpill's Asylum
I love how shimmery this chromalust from Sugarpill is. Although red isn't going to be everyone's go to eyeshadow colour, I can't help but lover trying to make it wearable.
Asylum is the perfect red, nicely pigmented and very easy to work with.
In order to tone down the fact that I was wearing red, I paired it with a neutral in the inner corner of the eye and then a red based black in the outer corner, creating an alternative smokey eye.
Eyes:
Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Eyeshadows in #19 and #2
Sugarpill Loose Eyeshadow in Asylum
Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Eyeliner in Perversion
Daniel Sandler Jumbo Mascara

Mini Sugarpill Haul with Swatches
A while ago Sugarpill had an anniversary sale so I finally indulged in the Burning Heart palette some eyelashes (although still waiting on another couple of pairs as they ended up out of stock) and Asylum the famous loose red eyeshadow!
Yesterday my parcel finally arrived :)
Super sweet packaged in pink tissue, with a sparkly Sugarpill sticker and a sample of Goldilux loose eyeshadow.
Let's start with Burning Heart. I love the packaging. It looks fab and it's nice and sturdy so not likely to get battered in the bottom of a makeup bag any time soon.
The colours are incredible. All four are matte and have insane colour payoff.
All colours are swatched without a primer or base (imagine how intense they will be when using one!)
Next we move onto a loose eyeshadow called Asylum. It's a beautiful, sparkly red. Probably not a necessity to everyone but it's just beautiful, I couldn't resist.
Finally are the two pairs of eyelashes which are breathtaking. One pair are long and purple, the other thick, spikey and black.
I cannot wait to play around with all of my goodies

Marcel Wanders for Mac 2 - Inez Lipstick
Another fab collaboration between Mac and Marcel Wanders.
The collection is full of beautiful products, in gorgeous packaging.
I fell in love with one of the lipsticks called Inez, a light, metallic plum colour.
As soon as the collection went up on the website I had to make it mine and good job too as it was the first item in the collection to sell out.
Now time to swoon over the packaging and lipstick in all of its glory
The Marcel Wanders is available exclusively at Mac Online now.

Mac Shop Lipsticks - Watch Me Simmer and Quick Sizzle
I picked up a couple of the lipsticks from Selfridges as they had them exclusively for a couple of weeks before they were released everywhere else this week.
The packaging is super cute and colourful, but unfortunately it's just a sleeve that goes on top of the regular black box, with the lipstick housed in the standard Mac black tube.
The two I picked were Watch Me Simmer and Quick Sizzle.
Watch Me Simmer is a Matte finish bright pink. I think of it as a matte Girl About Town which is what drew me towards it.
Quick Sizzle is an amazingly bright pink coral colour with an amplified finish. It reminds me of Viva Glam Nicki, except her coral sister.
Here are some comparisons to other Mac lip products in my collections to help you see if you need them in your lifes too.
